Douglas W. Thomson – President

After receiving a cum laude degree from Vanderbilt University, Doug obtained a law degree from Ohio Northern University, where he was on law review, and a Masters of Business Administration from Xavier University. He spent six years as general counsel to Structural Dynamics Research Corporation before establishing his own practice in Milford, OH. He has served as Mayor of the City of Milford and President of the Ohio Land Title Association for a period of time, and is currently active in the community as a Member of the Clermont County and Milford Chambers of Commerce. Doug practices in Kentucky and Ohio and is also owner of TechneTitle Agency Inc., a provider of title insurance services. In his free time, Doug enjoys training for the senior olympics and serving on the board of Matthew 25 Ministries.

Charles Rogers – Managing Attorney

Charlie received an honors degree in Financial Management from Western Kentucky University and a law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, also with Honors. His areas of practice include Probate, Probate Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, General Civil Litigation, Mediation, and Estate Planning.  He is currently on the board of The Glen Assisted Living Facility and is published author on many topics, from real estate to commercial  business dealings (UCC law). Charlie is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the United States Southern District of Ohio and United States Eastern District of Kentucky federal courts, and is trained in the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Uniform Mediation Training Act. In his spare time, Charlie enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughters.

Charles “Trey” Barrowman III – Certified Specialist

Trey is a Certified Specialist in Residential Real Property Law, by the Ohio State Bar Association. “OSBA Certification demonstrates a commitment to excellence in [a] prescribed field of practice. Trey earned his Bachelor degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and his Juris Doctorate from the Salmon P. Chase College of law, graduating with Honors and Cum Laude. During law school, Trey was Associate Editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Review, active in the Chase Small Business and Non-Profit Law Clinic, and a law clerk in both the Ohio Attorney General’s office and the Kenton County Circuit Court. He is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, the Southern District of Ohio federal courts, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky and his core practice involves real estate transactions, secured financing, and other business transactions. In addition to his position within Thomson Law, Trey serves as in-house counsel and a licensed real estate title insurance agent for TechneTitle Agency, Inc. Trey has been rated as a Rising Star in Real Estate by Super Lawyers in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Super Lawyers recognizes attorneys who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Erika Brock – Law Clerk

Erika received her bachelor’s degree from Franklin College and recently graduated cum laude from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in May 2022 and is currently awaiting her Ohio Bar results. Erika plans to practice in civil law focusing on estates and family law. In her spare time, Erika enjoys working a summer job at Riverbend Music Center, doing hot yoga and spending time with her dachshunds, Charlie and Frank.
